I'm not complaining about that at all, carriers can only carry so many planes after all, and it doesn't appear to be so much of a problem in higher tiers, but then again, I'm only at tier 7. Carriers are the only ship type that can be rendered completely useless (aside from surprisingly effective secondaries and the ever entertaining call of RAMMING SPEED!!). I'm a real time strategy fan and the CV gameplay just tickles that Command and Conquer nostalgia a bit (not to mention that awesome kill sound effect is much clearer in the top down view, so satisfying) and the yearlong grind up to the Tier 7 ranger hasn't been a boring one, but it has been frustrating, and carriers have suffered, and are continuing to suffer, the nerf bat.įirst off, the one big problem about CVs that you can see before you even buy one is their ammunition capacity. As a side effect, we've also been identifying the problems with this game and ways to fix them, especially with my favorite ship type, the carriers. A clan mate and I (and just on that note, WHERE'S THE CLANS have been designing a sci-fi naval game over the past several months and we've been brainstorming ideas.
